DKK DERM™

DKK DERM™ is a kit designed to obtain an autologous blood-derived product- platelet-rich plasma enriched with DKK-1 protein (DKK-PRP). The DKK DERM™ separation device is equipped with an innovative borosilicate platelet activator that selectively induces platelet activation, resulting in increased release of DKK-1 protein.

DKK-1 is a natural inhibitor of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway, which plays a key role in, among other processes, the regulation of skin pigmentation. Intradermal injections using DKK-PRP represent an innovative, breakthrough approach to reducing melasma and discoloration, aimed at inhibiting the mechanisms responsible for their development.

DKK DERM™ kit enables the preparation of 1 mL of DKK-PRP dedicated to melasma-affected areas and 2 mL of activated plasma dedicated to overall skin rejuvenation.

Recommended protocol: intradermal injection; one treatment per month, three treatments on average.

Possible treatment outcomes: visibly reduced melasma, fewer recurrences, and improved overall skin quality and tone.

This procedure pack is designed for the isolation and separation of activated platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the patient’s blood. The presence of an activator allows for obtaining plasma with expanded therapeutic properties.
